QTEC Aerospace is pleased to announce Rick Pender has been appointed Company Vice President of Operations, effective September 1, 2020. Mr. Pender has been with QTEC for four years, serving as Director of Operations and the Director for the Missile Defense Systems Sector. As VP of Operations, Rick will be responsible for day-to-day activities associated with operation of the company to include: Facilities, Safety, Security, Information Technology (IT), Configuration Management and the Quality Management System (QMS). Rick will continue to serve as the Sector Director for the Missile Defense Systems Sector. In his new role, Mr. Pender will continue to report to QTEC’s President, Carol Daniel. Mr. Pender has over 30 years of experience in the defense industry spanning numerous roles in project engineering, program management and capture management. Prior to joining QTEC, Mr. Pender served as the Operations Manager for the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Development and Sustainment Contract at Northrop Grumman. Mr. Pender holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.
