QTEC Aerospace is pleased to announce Steve Cook has been appointed Director of Space and Missile Systems Sector, effective November 1, 2020.
As Sector Director, Steve will be responsible for maintaining and growing our Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) work. Steve will continue to serve as a member of our Business Development staff, reporting directly to QTEC President, Carol Daniel.
Steve brings more than 30 years of experience managing US programs in the air and missile defense, intelligence, and communications industries and valuable familiarity with IAMD programs and customers. Prior to joining QTEC Aerospace in May 2020, Steve served as the Business Development Manager for International Air & Missile Defense Programs at Northrop Grumman. During his 20+ years at TRW/Northrop, Steve provided leadership to several Air and Missile Defense programs with an emphasis on Battle Management, Command & Control. He also provided capture and business development support to a variety of programs across the Missile Defense and Advanced Technologies domains. Steve is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Park College, and completed other management programs such as the University of Chicago Booth Executive Strategy Course and Harvard Law School’s Executive Session on Negotiations. Steve has been a frequent speaker at US and international conference on missile defense and technology.
