The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce presented the prestigious Best Places to Work (Silver) honor in the medium-size (51-100 employees) category to QTEC Aerospace at its awards event held May 14, 2024.
Why is this award so impressive and so important? It is the voice of our employees; a direct reflection of their satisfaction with how we do business and the culture we have built. In a talent-rich and successful community such as Huntsville, the win is a measure of how well we are meeting our mission statement; especially the “QTEC will provide an unusually good place to work” goal.
Since we receive and review the survey results and comments, participating in the Best Places to Work program is also an investment in understanding changes in our employees needs and priorities; an opportunity for us to identify and consider changes and/or improvements.
QTEC’s CEO/President Carol Daniel noted in her acceptance of the award: “As a Huntsville-grown woman-owned small business, we are grateful for the Huntsville business community and the support and encouragement we’ve received from its members over the years. Our culture was built on working toward being the best at what we do – we focus on doing that every day. Our Team’s continued commitment to that focus is represented in this award; it belongs to them.” Carol also commented: “QTEC has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work for 10 of the 16 years the program has been in place – that is such an amazing honor! We are so proud of our QTEC family; what we have accomplished and the great things that are yet to come.”
